We Want your Feedback! Artful programs for 2019!

Greetings!

We are excited about some new programs that we will be sponsoring and bringing to our community in 2019. We are looking for your feedback. As a caregiver, a client, a social worker or a loved one,
WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

What type of programs would you like to experience? Or what would you like to share with a family, friend, client or neighbor?

Currently, we are working with Gail Baranello of A& G Productions to host a “Moving Through Loss” movement workshop at the Ed & Phyllis Davis Wellness center at the Stony Brook/Southampton Hospital. This program is ideal for ages, 12-112 who have experienced loss in their lives. Through movement, journaling and discussion guests will be guided through this five-week healing program. This will begin in March 2019 in both Southampton and Hampton Bays.

We are actively exploring an opportunity with Meditation DJ to bring sound healing workshops to the aging community. Dan Lauter of Meditation DJ specializes in sound immersion wellness practices (aka sound baths).

WHAT IS A SOUND BATH?
Sound Baths are immersive sound meditations that use instruments and objects d’sound specifically for deep relaxation, reduction of stress, lessening of anxieties and for many, as a means of self-healing and personal transformation.

In the past, we offered music-making workshops, drawing programs as well as letter writing as alternative tools for healing. We want to know what alternative programs you would like to experience. Please reply and let us know if you have an innovative idea, or a practice, or activity that you feel we should share with the community!

Let’s work together to provide quality of life for our aging loved ones!
